In the Oct 26th issue of the Keller Citizen, I challenged the Central Charger Football team to unify as a team. I don’t know if it was read, but I felt compelled to write again; this time to say thank you to the boys who fight for the honor of Central High School every Friday night in the fall.

This past Friday night the Chargers found themselves in a hard fought game with the Rebels from Richland. Late in the fourth quarter one of our boys was injured on the field. I was away from the field attending to some volunteer duties, but when I heard everyone go silent, I turned to see every member of the Charger team take a knee in a show of unity and support for one of their fallen comrades.

Simply put, thank you Central Chargers for reminding everyone that you are a team and you take the field as one.
