American Bank to host customer appreciation

American Bank, with locations in Saginaw and in Keller at 975 Keller Parkway, will play host to a Community Appreciation Day on Friday, April 18, at both locations.

The community is invited to stop by for free food and drinks, according to a news release. The day coincides with Community Banking Month during April, which is meant to highlight the role of community banks in the towns they operate.

Acupuncturist starts business in Keller

Calli XiZi Wang has opened TCM Natural Healing, an acupuncture practice at 353 Keller Parkway in Keller, offering acupuncture, acupressure, herbal medicines and other offerings.

Wang is a licensed acupuncturist in Texas and Missouri and one of the youngest experts of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in the U.S., according to a news release. She earned her first degree in Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine at ShanXi Medical University in China, and earned an M.D. there.

Keller resident offers small-business services

Steve Banner of Keller has opened a Padgett Business Services location to serve Keller, Southlake, Colleyville and North Richland Hills small-business owners.

Service offerings include financial reporting, payroll and tax consulting through Banner’s local franchise.

“We’re looking forward to providing this service to our small business community and we’re confident we can meet their financial reporting and tax needs,” Banner said in a news release.

Banner moved to the Fort Worth area in 2001 from south Florida. He has served in management roles in enterprises in various countries during the last 30 years and has worked for H & R Block in Australia and Fort Worth. He also has experience in the field of telecommunications.
