Keller resident receives award from JCPenney
Lorraine Kelsch of Keller, manager of the JCPenney Salon inside the Ridgmar Mall store, received the company’s Champion Award in honor of the salon’s outstanding performance in 2007, according to a news release.
The awards were presented to managers of the 81 top-performing JCPenney Salons in April during a ceremony in Kissimmee, Fla.
JCPenney operates the largest department-store salon chain, with more than 900 salon locations.
Cabela’s to host Scout Challenge on May 17
Cabela’s is inviting Boy and Girl Scout troops to participate in the 3rd Scout Challenge on May 17 at the north Fort Worth store.
Troops will compete in contests including tent raising, casting, metal detecting, map reading and demonstrations of survival skills.
