Staff report
Keller ISD officials have named six new principals for the 2008-09 school year.
At the May 12 board meeting, trustees approved five principals; a sixth was approved two weeks earlier.
David Hadley, currently the principal at Fossil Hill Middle School, will replace Todd Tunnell at Fossil Ridge High School. Last month, Tunnell was chosen to lead the new Timber Creek High School, opening in August 2009.
Sandra Chapa was named principal of Keller Middle School. Chapa is in her second year as principal of Galveston Ball High School in Galveston ISD.
Four principals were chosen for KISD elementary schools. Doreen Krebs will move from Freedom Elementary to Parkview to replace longtime principal Kay Gannon. Victoria Miles will take Krebs’ post at Freedom. Miles is now the principal of Davidson Elementary School in the North Kansas City School District. Gary Mantz will move from the assistant principal position at Willis Lane to the top spot at Shady Grove. Robyn Gibson will be the next principal at North Riverside, after serving four years as the assistant principal at Bluebonnet.
