JROTC cadets are honored at annual medals ceremony

Several members of Keller ISD’s Air Force Junior ROTC 20055 received awards on May 9 during a ceremony at Central High School.
The following is a list of the honorees:
Distinguished Air Force JROTC Cadet: Kaitlyn Pepper, Central.

The Keller ISD program started in 2003 under the U.S. Air Force JROTC. The program now has more than 150 students in grades 9-12 from the district’s three high schools. Classes and activities are conducted at Central High.
The curriculum is a four-year program with each year being divided into academics studies – Aerospace Science – and leadership training.
