Police report

A 16-year-old Fort Worth boy was arrested on suspicion of stealing a golf cart from the Keller Soccer Association and attempting to sell it on Craig’s List. The golf cart, valued at $6,400, was recovered when the boy was arrested on Aug. 19. The cart was reported stolen on Aug. 13 from the KSA office, 285 Sports Pkwy.

A 17-year-old Keller man was arrested on suspicion of burglary of a motor vehicle, credit card abuse and possession of fraudulent identification. He was arrested at 9:39 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 700 block of Carmel Drive after a parent called about finding stolen property. The items recovered by police included three Apple iPods, two cell phones, a semi-automatic pistol, two knives and debit and credit cards.

A window and outdoor light received an estimated $275 in damage in an incident reported Aug. 15 in the 100 block of Ruby.

A tiller/edger valued at $285 was reported stolen on July 2 from the 400 block of Durrand Oak Drive.

A 41-year-old Fort Worth woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. She was stopped at 2:10 a.m. Aug. 20 in the 300 block of Rufe Snow for speeding.

A known suspect threatened a Keller man and woman with a bedpost and broke $2,500 worth of windows in their home and car, according to a report filed Aug. 20 in the 1200 block of Bourland Road.

Keller police are seeking a known female suspect in conjunction with an Aug. 20 shoplifting incident at Kohl’s, 2001 S. Main. The woman pushed down the store’s loss prevention officer, abandoned stolen items and fled the store. Police reported recovering $488 in clothing, home accessories and shoes.

A fence received an estimated $1,000 in damage in an incident reported Aug. 21 in the 3200 block of Creek Road.

An estimated 90 tablets of the anti-anxiety drug Xanax were reported stolen on Aug. 18 from the 1300 block of Keller Parkway.

A 38-year-old Keller man was arrested on suspicion of DWI. He was stopped at 1:16 a.m. Aug. 24 in the 100 block of Keller-Hicks Road for failing to signal a lane change.

Three radar detectors valued at $825 were reported stolen on Aug. 25 from three vehicles parked in the 1300 block of Keller Parkway. An estimated $600 in car windows were reported as damaged during the theft.

An estimated $800 in car windows were damaged in an incident reported Aug. 26 in the 1000 block of Oak Valley Drive.

Two car stereos valued at $400 were reported stolen on Aug. 26 from two cars in the 500 block of Bourland Road. An estimated $400 in car windows were reported as damaged during the theft.

A 35-year-old Denton man was arrested on suspicion of using a fraudulent prescription in an attempt to get the painkiller hydrocodone. The man was arrested at 1 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Kroger Pharmacy, 2061 Rufe Snow, after store officials contacted police.

A juvenile male was arrested on suspicion of a minor driving under the influence. He was stopped at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 21 in the 900 block of Keller Parkway for failing to stop at the designated point in an intersection.

A 31-year-old Azle man was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and theft of a firearm. The man was stopped at 4:13 p.m. Aug. 23 in the 1800 block of South Main for going straight in a right-turn only lane. Police reported recovering a 380-caliber pistol valued at $300.

On Aug. 20, Blockbuster, 940 Keller Pkwy., reported the theft of 18 DVDs, estimated total value $415.

A Dodge Ram 1500 valued at $20,000 was recovered on Aug. 18 in Dallas. The pickup was reported stolen on Aug. 12 from the 2300 block of Precinct Line Road in Westlake.
